Car Tires | Car Wheels

    Car Tires
Automobile tires are devices that cover the rim of a wheel. Tires are an important part of land vehicles, and used to reduce vibration caused by road surface irregularities, to protect the wheel from wear and damage, and to provide stability between the vehicle and the ground to improve acceleration and facilitate movement.

Most of the existing ban, especially those used for motor vehicles, manufactured from synthetic rubber, although it can also be used from other materials such as steel.

    History of car tires

In 1839, Charles Goodyear discovered vulcanization techniques of rubber. Vulcanisation itself comes from the word which is the fire god Vulcan in the Roman religion. At first, Goodyear did not call his invention with a name but a rubber vulcanization fireproof. To appreciate his services, Goodyear name immortalized as the name of the famous rubber company in the United States of Goodyear Tire and Rubber company founded by Frank Seiberling in 1898. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company was founded in 1898 when Frank Seiberling purchased the company's first plant using money he borrowed from one-in-law.

In 1845 Thomson and Dunlop tires or created at that time called life aka tire tire air hollow. So called Mr Thomson and Dunlop Tires. With technological developments Charles Kingston Welch find tires, while William Erskine Bartlett finds out tires.

    Parts of the tire
    • Tread tread is the part that serves to protect the tire from the impact, puncture of the external object that can berusak tires. Tread made many patterns, called Pattern.
    • Breaker and Belt is part of a layer of threads (on regular tires are made of textiles, while the radial tire is made of wire) which is placed between the tread and casing. Serves to protect and reduce the collision that occurred on Tread for not directly absorbed by the casing.
    • The casing is a layer of yarn forming the framework of the tire and a tire that holds air high pressure for the tire can support.
    • Bead is a bundle of wires that are united by a hard rubber and function as anchors are attached to the rim.
Tires like the other vehicles would have suffered damage or wear. The first thing to consider is the depth of grooves on each tire treads. If the depth of the plot is less than 1.6 millimeter from the surface of the TWI lines, it was a sign vehicle tires must be replaced. In addition the flat will endanger the security of the rider, because it can cause loss of control and lead to fatal accidents. Maintain tire air pressure is not just for driving safety, but also makes the vehicle more friendly to nature as it reduces costs and fuel consumption. Vehicles with flat tires causing the machine to work hard, so that the greater the exhaust gases are produced.
